It's my favourite breakfast place in Bowmanville

My wife and I went for breakfast before the Santa parade last Saturday. My wife was not very hungry, so she would have some of my breakfast. Upon ordering, our waitress told us there is no "sharing" allowed ,and would have to charge my wife $3.00 just to sit and watch me eat!! We had to order some toast that she didn't want. What nerve of these people. NEVER again will we come here. I'm telling everyone I know.

Unfortunately disappointed. The omelet was tasteless and dry (overcooked), and the crepe was thick more like pancakes and also very dry. When I told the server nothing was offered to make it better so we just paid and left even though I couldn't eat it. Won't be coming back.

This restaurant is nice and spacious, the meals was delicious and the prices were very inexpensive. fast, effective service and very welcoming staff members. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Yesterday I came to Olympia for the first time, and had such a hard time choosing from the menu! Such great options at an affordable price, and you can order any breakfast, lunch, dinner foods at any time of the day which is awesome. Had the most amazing burger!! Their fries are excellent, next time I’ll ask for them to be a little crispier :) The staff were so kind and helpful. I’m usually nervous when ordering food but the waitress made us feel comfortable and she was very easy to talk to. I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu :)) Would highly recommend

Good service, fair portions for the price

My son and I walked in and were pleased with the overall condition of the diner. The server was the right amount of pleasant and knew how much to come around. As we ate our meal (that came in 2 minutes), new patrons walked in and were greeted warmly as they were recognized as regulars.Debit and cash are accepted and an atm on site.I would highly recommend others to experience this delightful eatery!

Serving size ok potatoes were a little on The cool server seemed preoccupied

last night was the first time in this excellent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the courteous service, with the high quality cooking and booze and with the friendly charge. We will surely return there again.

This restaurant is unquestionably one of the most pleasant place in the region. Anytime I go there I am so satisfied. They maintain their high standard service and the highest level of meals they give. You always win with this restaurant. Very recommended.

Very authentic with the 50s vibe of the restaurant. No one wanted to serve me and my colored friends and waited 15 minutes just to get dirty cutlery. Was never presented a menu after 30 minutes of asking. Thank you for the realism.

Today was my first day to have physically visit this establishment. I have however had food twice from ordering. Clean, tidy and organized. I really liked what I ordered and so did my guest. I will be visiting this establishment again when I can.

We really like this place. Been here 4 or 5 times. Had the burget, breakfast and a sandwich. All good. The fries are very good. Staff are friendly and the service is good. Clean place with a nice family restaurant feel. Highly recommend.

Their hot beef is similar to Leonard's, a now defunct Leaside eatery. They use a thick cut pot roast instead of the usual pressed and formed thin cut seasoned beef.

Food was great and came quickly, excellent service. I just wish it was a little bigger so you can accommodate more then groups of 4 per table. 1st time going and we will be back! 😀

$9 for a huge plate of food and coffee and it was good on top of it. Can't wait to have another lunch with the gang here. A hidden gem for sure.

I showed up at 10am on a Monday and was told to sit any where. All ready I knew I was off to a bad start as there were dirty dishes at every table that did not have someone already seated. Granted it was busy and they only had one waitress the second waitress did show up after I was seated. I continued to sit for 20min and was not even acknowledged. I thought it was funny so I sat and watched people come in after me and served. I ended up leaving and going to the Newcastle Griddle where I had a lights out amazing butter chicken omelet. So there was some good that came of the terrible service!

Located right in the downtown area of Bowmanville. Great hospitality and they now except debit transactions. The food to be completely honest is nothing special and a little bit over priced for average the menu is.

Amazing staff always friendly they always go out way to make sure u have the best service. Best food in town and prices I have lived here all my life it only place I eat with my family. :)

Had the Olympia burger, the burger was massive, the mushrooms were cooked spot on, had a thick slice of pickle and a huge crunchy bun to hold it all together. My wife had the Ruben sandwich, I took a bite and it was so great and had a nice dollop of butter... Drool... :)

Good food and reasonable prices. The burgers aren't all that great but the breakfasts and salads are good-sized portions and delicious. The coffee is pretty good too. Good customer service. Friendly and efficient. They don't accept credit cards so be sure bring enough cash.

Great family owned diner! We’ve gone a couple of times now and have not been disappointed. Their portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The wait staff is friendly and the food comes out fairly quickly and made to order. The menu is extensive, so there’s plenty of options for whatever your craving may be. We will be back to try more items from their menu.

The best greasy spoon brunch or breakfast in town. Orders are relatively cheap and come in huge portion sizes. The staff are all pretty nice and it's usually busy but they don't blare music which is nice. Great to go in the late afternoon if you need something fast because it's usually busy in the morning.

We arrived at this restaurant for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely nice and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this place a lot and we shall absolutely come back again. Recommended.

At first I was a little put off by CASH ONLY...but the server was soooo nice!! I ordered the hamburger steak...huge portion and delish!!

Love the clubhouse, fresh cut fries and homemade gravy make it well worth the $15. So yummy and one between two people is plenty! Greek salad pretty good too. Most go for breakfast but I’m a lunch and dinner kind of girl!
